7hm Turbocharged October 7, 2016 Share October 7, 2016 New recall for Vezel Hybrid due to brake problem. The affected cars were manufactured from 23 Feb 2016 to 4 July 2016. Affected chassis nos: RU3-1200021 ~ RU3-1214074 The fault is due to a error in the VSA software which affects the braking performance of the car. May cause accidents, Affected cars should not use VSA until the software is reprogrammed to latest version http://www.honda.co.jp/recall/campaign/160930.html Means the user has to remember to disable VSA every time they start up? therock Supersonic October 7, 2016 Share October 7, 2016 No. Only affect Hybrid models which KM didn't bring in One more thing for the PIs then.. Since there hasn't been much news of PIs fixing the older issue, this will be another litmus test for buyers when they decide on where to put their money.. went to KM with my colleague to check out the new HRV, from the chassis number , suspect it is assembled in mexico the chassis number of the HRV is something like JHMRU1xxxGXxxxxxx the 11th character indicate the assembly plant and for the HRV, the 11th character is X. Maybe, but if this is true, then Kah will still be fudging the truth.. they were selling the car based on the fact that it was a MIJ version. This could be scandalous
GLXi 1st Gear October 7, 2016 Share October 7, 2016 (edited) A car that is Made in Japan is very different from a Car that is From Japan It could be Made Elsewhere , ship to Japan and then rightly put car is From Japan. Many products are seldom made solely in one country. We all know that companies source their parts fr different countries to manage cost and quality. It is where it is finally assembled and tested that is important. Edited October 7, 2016 by GLXi

Kopites Supersonic October 8, 2016 Share October 8, 2016 Bro You are one of the firs HRV (Kah Motor) buyers here. So based on the last few posts, is your car Japanese or Mexican bro? I can't imagine the fallout if it turns out that Kah sourced their cars from Mexico and marketed them as Japanese in origin.. If you ask BMW or Merc, they are quite upfront, their 3 series and C class are from South Africa. No hiding.. Should not by law all imported product must state country of origin? Bill of Lading should be very clear here.

Yamapi 6th Gear October 8, 2016 Share October 8, 2016 (edited) The Mexican plant assembled Honda HR-V 1.5 DOHC i-VTEC (CVT and manual) and diesel version. Maybe they produced a few RHD for other markets too http://www.automobile-catalog.com/auta_cmp2.php Edited October 8, 2016 by Yamapi
