The downside of touch screen climate control..FBI/police can obtain your finger print easily.

what's there to be scared unless one has a guilty conscience.

Guys, just wanna ask if paddle shift is a good to have for Vezel/HR-V ?

Do we really use it at all?

I think it's useful, but is your question on this related to saving a few thousand dollars?

What you lose is more, in the no of airbags and other features..

other than e no of air bags, * i know... safety num 1.

* Paddle Shift.

1) no root rail. *No use for me.

2) 7" HU * Can be change.

3) voice control * subjective

4) leather gear knob * Easy to change.

5) body colour for lower bumper * Easy to change. i like it black in colour thou.

7) Local or factory fitted leather does not matters.

worth the $5000 ??? after market easily can be done; even for paddle shift ?

I guess bro, the question is how much value do you put on those extra airbags.. since you feel that everything else that the LX version offers is not really useful to you..

When my friend asked me about which version she should get, I had no hesitation to recommend her the LX, even though she probably won't use the paddles. 5k for all the extras sounded reasonable to both of us.

Your call :)

Paddle shift good for selecting gears but since its CVT transmission, and based on previous rides, i rather just use the foot paddle instead and be more 'gentle'. Just my opinion.

My friend who walked in last weekend, spent 30 mins and paid for it, got her COE..

Anyone else successful?

As I said, Kah is aggressive with bidding. None of those low price but no COE tricks...

A quick question for HRV new owners.... Does your new ride comes with spare tyre?

I do not think so. it comes with a repair kit.

Volvo's a bit old school with that design but they're phasing it out. Still, I like having all those buttons to get things done quickly, you can dial someone's number really quickly with those.

But when it comes to these essential climate controls I really prefer some physical knobs/buttons. Best is the style used by Volkswagen group cars imo.

Too many buttons is not nice, but I prefer a ton of buttons over a touch panel you have to look at or might accidentally brush against.

I don't find the "like smartphones" argument to hold a lot of water, because with a smartphone, you are usually looking at it to consume the content. While driving, the stakes are higher than walking on the pavement and you shouldn't have to spend too long looking away just for something like adjusting air-con air-flow.

I always like the touch of a good button. I also think having a shutter button on your phone for the camera is better. But perhaps I am old school.

I perfer the button than touch screen at times.
