Your COE starts from the moment the car is registered. In theory if Kah agrees, it can start from the last day of your old car.

I did that for my FD..

For my new car, I postponed the rego until I come back from a long trip. You have to do some negotiations as it means storage and they may have to sort out the battery, and also prevent the tire from going flat if it's been in storage.

I did that last time too but less likely they allow delay cross year.

Hello Vezel Owners!!

I'm just wondering if any Punggol or Sengkang brothers and sisters here have the owner's manual in English?

My car dealer only give me the Japanese version one?

Can lend me to photocopy?

Thank you.

I'm considering to install either roof rack or tow hitch to carry my bicycles.

Any one has installed roof racks and roof bicycle rack for their vezel? Can share some pictures and review?

Anyone has installed the tow hitch and the hitch receiver? Can share some pictures and review?

Thank you all!!!

Can't wait to collect it in Nov?

You can use your exist car till Mar-2017, and ask KM delivery your new car at Mar-17,

than you will no loss $ on your scrap car

KM is pretty strict on 'holding' onto your newly-arrived car. In fact, I asked a couple of SEs (separately) and found the convention to be 2 weeks. Any longer, they will not allow.

I guess I could try to dish out a few excuses like overseas business trip etc. Anybody has managed to get an agreement to hold it for a period of time?  :a-whiteflag:

AND...

Thanks for all the suggestions by fellow MCFers. I've asked around and as mentioned, the opening priceis  $200-500 on top of scrap value.  [bounce1]  might as well keep and use...

That's really depend.

If you can get $500 above scrap, it may worth considering.

Say if you to keep for 4 months from Nov to Mar. You need to pay season parking around $80*4=$320. Plus fuel etc. You maybe need to fork out $500 or more, instead of getting $500 more back.

Unless you pass it to someone who need it for the last 4 months of use.

But then about insurance, will you new car get the ncb discount? As you still holding on to it on the old car.

If you transfer the ncb to the new car, do you need to buy insurance for 4 months for the old car?

Again there are a few more conditions to consider. Check out if you scrap with 4 months remaining, how much will you get?

There are coe and road tax and insurance pro rated which you can get back. Maybe worth some money to compare with.

Eg. If your coe was $12000,then pro rated maybe $300?

my quick thought is, a swift cut over to your new car is cleaner :)

$500 can be treat as a discount off your new ride, or use it to buy something for your new ride ;)

There's only one AD for honda in SG

It's Kah motors.

Since you are dealing with a PI do everything by the book. Have everything on paper and don't hand over any more money until you see your car.

But that is for HRV not vezel...

Well you ask for the AD, so my reply is that there's only one AD in SG.

There are no ADs for Vezel.

Surely after your experience with a PI, you aren't thinking of another round with a different PI??

A friend asked me about the mobilio, and I told her to choose the HRV, she walked in this morning, and bought a LX within 30 mins.. chop chop.

Estimated delivery in Nov.

No fight in the finish and build..  for every member here going back and forth between different cars, there's someone out there who makes a decision in minutes  :D

Hi all, was considering between vezel and Hrv lx.

In terms of features does Hrv have something similar as Honda sensing? What other things that Hrv don't have?

Calculated the cost and seems like the overall total between the, is around $2k. Any other consideration for choosing vezel?

To avoid nightmares, if the price difference is not too much, buy from the AD.. those extra dollars saved may not be worth it in the long run.

And don't hand over all your money until you get what you want.

Anything that you want, get it down.

Totally agree after a bad experienced from a so called largest PI with all the praises to one guy whom was found to be related to the owner. And these people all have played out the praises in FB and many forums. Readers and potential buyers just beware.
