I have been using 98 all this while.

I like the response it provide to the engine.

 

I tried 95 many years back, I feel I need to step on it more. Meaning have the feeling of using more fuel to move.

Step more on 95 = step less on 98 = similar cost

 

So I decide to use 98 and have the response feel.

Vezel bought was an 2015 model, ex stock. Downpayment at 30%.

 

6th of Aug I signed the agreement with the PI. $15k deposit paid. Agreed was COE Bidding at 53k and rebate at 48k.

 

17th Aug 2016: COE at $53,300. PI did not get.

 

7th Sep 2016: Managed to get COE at $51k plus.

I also asked the sales person (SP) what is the required action, and SP replied me "is my job", and will update me later.

 

13th Sep 2016: I saw some fb post abt recall vezel, query and check with SP. SP replied that mine is a recall set. I can get the car first and once the part arrive and they let me know. No status of car mentioned.

 

21st Sep 2016: 2 weeks and no status so I Asked status of the car. SP replied me and ask me to come down and pay balance next weekend. And till now no mention of amount or whatever. They didn't do registration of car.

 

I really worried abt this PI. Is this PI trustable? Will I get cheated?

 

You need real luck to get the car. Wondering what is the pricing you agree on for getting a 2015 stock in August 2016. Below $90k.

As with "Skyy" I am also looking for a Vezel 2016 model, but a Hybrid. From my search, I understand that "Honda Sensing" comes as standard. I went to a PI who claimed that it was an "extra". Other Pis offer that as standard, sign of a red flag? Thank you for any inputs.

The actual price on your receipt would be about $129,999. They are selling it at $112,999. This is the main reason who the HRV has a higher OMV than the Vezel. Technically, after the paper play, the cost of a Vezel and a HRV would be the same if it is driven for 10 years.

Meaning that a lot PI Vezel buyer switch over?

One, it could be that they are getting a lot of business so they can become 'cocky'..

Kill off the PI with a solid introductory price.

 

Or as they become filled with ordered, they want to bid the right amount to secure the car. I have known Kah to bid aggressively so they help you get the COE. None of that top up or 8 bids and you still don't have a COE stuff.

KM car price a lot premium, in a way, they can secure COE aggressively.

I am not too sure about the cost, though I think it is not too prohibitive that would put off a prospective buyer, i.e me.

The cost of HR V LX based on 50k COE is abt 98k after 5k of CEVS rebate

Seems like KM is getting cocky again because there is quite a bit of spill over demand from would be PI buyers of Vezel and hence dare to increase price. Ultimately, if potential buyers find that the HRV is "over-priced", many will return to PIs. Just see how potential buyers of HRV would react to KM latest move...

Aiyoh... this has nothing to do with being cocky lar... it's simply economics... this round the COE dropped, more buyers will flood the market and more car dealers will have more orders to fulfil, and they will have larger margins and so the bid price is likely to move up again to recover from the dip this round lar... it's always like that... as a buyer you'll always lag behind the COE upturn or downturn... those who benefit are the lucky ones although with minor dips like this, it's the car dealers who benefit and the buyers lose... cos you pay the same price for the car but the COE is less... so your depreciation sans COE is now higher...

So far, none of the Hybrid owners in SG have had any issues with their Hybrid components, so I think the Hybrid should be quite reliable since the car has been around for around 2 years already. This new li-ion technology is proving to be very reliable.

There's only one AD for honda in SG

It's Kah motors.

Since you are dealing with a PI do everything by the book. Have everything on paper and don't hand over any more money until you see your car.

I 

think at the end of the day, the carbon build up is worst.

 

I recall during the mitusubishi Grandis days, the lean burn carbon build up with so call petrol standard back then was really CMI

This is very true as of today, PM me if any of you are considering the hybrids,

 

We have a strong 150 hybrid owners in our chatgp here in sg. We shared all hybrid tech, mods and ice...

 

We just did our first all vezel hybrid meetups on 17th Sept at East Coast Park :))
