ok i rephrase again huh :

"after the zero no-loan penalty, 7 Kah motor servicings and higher scrap value, both pricing cost of ownership is like same..... not to mention 5yr AD warranty."

Kah interest rates lower also.

For some, the dollar discount is the most important.

But you can't place a value on the assurance of COE, service etc.

Previous bros did not have a choice, the older Thai HRV is totally different. It was either PI or the Thai HRV. I would not choose the Thai car either.

Now with the AD giving a simple way to get the COE, service, warranty, and if there are recalls, you know they will attend to it.

To me, these none tangible benefits are just as worth it as a cash discount.

I prefer to sleep well at night, cheers.

same thinking, cheers  :a-good:

Good night sleep is priceless. Kah Motor which is the Authorised Dealer for Honda in Singapore and Malaysia has a good track record with more than 40 years in this area. Now the HRV is from Japan , the choice is much easier and clearer too,

Done.

Essentially IMO, and others will not always agree. Look for the youngest, hungriest rep.

Then spell out what you want, don't go overboard, and ask for the moon.

Know that Kah will get you your COE, they don't play COE games.

Most reps will work hard for you.

A few bros have pm me, so anyways, Ivan and Oey are good guys. They both work at Alex.

Hi, Bro,

can you also able to PM me your buddy's SE name, around 112K is good price for LX, Tks

Will pm. But if you want 112k and all the previous stuff, it may not be possible.

And if you go to him, please don't do the 'fishing' thing and go around again... it's very hard for these guys... cheers

Nah bro, they have their hands full selling.. they may not be your medical social worker, but they aren't really free enough to bad mouth the others out there.

The HRV is selling nicely.. and if the 1.6l Civic continues to drop in price, they have another winner, even if the engine is old and the plastics are not up to the 8th gen in quality.. at the end of the day, it's a Honda!

Busy & hands full doesn't mean that there is no breaktime for them to rest & surf MCF, just a 10 mins is enough to post rubbish on MCF.

If the posted rubbish can aid even more to their sales, why not?

Like I said in other topic before, I also got insider news that earth is going to be attack by aliens. Is just that dun ask me which planet they come from.

Hi guys/gals,

Yong Kang here. Checking on some PPS and hope someone can enlighten. Some shops charge as low as $500 all the way to several $K.. Why is there so much difference in cost? I'm looking at budget side. But most budgets are self branded. Can't google much information on them. Any bros and sis here are on such? care to share? Can pm me if you are uncomfortable to broadcast your comments.

Kum sia. Thanks!

Then wait for Toyota CHR. Similiiar to vezel as a crossover and potentially might be offered with prius engine. Not sure at this point if BM bringing in and which engine option they will bring if.

To add further. Personal view, since Vezel now treated as cab ride due to uber, people will rather go for other model than being treated as a cabby.

They all work on different pricing strategy.

PIs charge 3k-5k because that's what they get from the financing company when u take up loan. So if u don't take loan, they won't earn that cut from the finance company, & they charge it to u.

Kah already has quite a good premium on their car prices, they can afford to forgo that.

Borneo, however, gives u a discount from their list price if u take their loan. So u get the best deal when u take up the shortest loan tenure with the lowest loan amount.

In general, they all work differently. So u have to find out about each of them.

About the interest rate u pay, they'll quote u from 2.08%-2.78%, but u're really paying an effective rate of about twice of what they quote

yeah, i think PI's business model factor is factoring in the loan commission as part of their margin, which they can't do without.

I don't expect any sales rep (PI or AD) to sell me a car and earn 0 commission  [laugh].

But i does think current Vezel X price is not competitive against HRV DX - maybe this is how Kah motor want to take back the vezel market.

i feel now going for Vezel is only if die die want to have Honda sensing or hybrid.

I had the opportunity to compare a few PPS systems (was recommended CS-2, Optishine, looked up Blacknano...). Eventually went for one recommended by a colleague. Despite the heavy marketing on titanium coating, I did not take it up and chose the 2nd best PPS package.

Personally, I don't see the advantages of shelling almost double the amount of cash for an extra 1 year warranty (comparing ceramic 9h vs titanium 9h coating). As long as the car shines better than when it came out of the showroom, I'm happy.

Btw I did my PPS within 2 wks of collecting my car, and I got an additional discount. Works out for me as well.
