Sturtles 6th Gear July 14, 2005 Share July 14, 2005 Stamford tires sells them. Since they have so many branches, its the most convenient. Many other smaller workshops have them too, eg fongkim etc

Showtime Neutral Newbie July 15, 2005 Share July 15, 2005 mintex brake pads are HARD. good stopping power but they will wear out your stock rotors (discs)... so be prepared to see brake dust on your rims (from your rotor wearing out not the pads) and also be prepared to change to a tougher rotor in the near future. brembo max would do nicely. not expensive and they are tough slotted rotors. Helixtrd Neutral Newbie July 19, 2005 Share July 19, 2005 They should have checked your existing brake pad for wear 1st before changing it out. customer service

Brothers, for brakepads, can do self examination one. See if pad thickness is left 2mm change immediately If you do a lot of hard driving, change when 3mm left If you've been doing regular servicing at your agent's, they probably check your pads. Else, I think you better get them checked immediately - 60k is a lot of driving even in S'pore. Not only your [eroded] pads will eat your rotors, it's downright dangerous to be driving around with worn pads

Brembo Max is way too soft for Mintex Orange pads. I wore them out together in my last change, they hardly lasted 40,000km. ↡ Advertisement
