Not too sure about which car can use, better you mail them and ask.

I used it on a '82 accord b4 and installation is simple, just connect the + and - respective to the ignition coil. These days, the ignition coil is different and installation not so straight forward. Dare not mess around. [sweatdrop]

Anyway, with built-in capacitors for the newer ignition these days, the effect should be quite similiar. Your civic have the little black capacitor at each plug insert, thats the one when you unscrew to access the plugs. Should be the same concept.

How many you need? Seems like there's diff number required for diff app. Either 1 or x the number of cylinders

I still have mine if you want, only 1 unit, dunno whether still working. If you can confirm your car can use and know how to install, let me know. Sell you at $80 (if its working) but I dunno how to check.

Its looks like what they show in the website. Red colour with 2 wires, almost like those voltage stabilizers. Internal circuitry dunno condition.

Its a current amplifier for your ignition coil.

Only for electronic or points inductive ignition systems.Do NOT use PowerCore on CD ignitions.

hyperlinked for u: http://www.nology.com/power.html

i think it is basically a capacitor tuned for the resonance of the ignition to give higher sparks, but is meant for older cars. [nod] Like very old cars with mechanical contact breakers, it has a capacitor connected to it. It works the same way. Eversince the days of electronic switching, most manufacturer do not put this capacitor. my $0.02.[sweatdrop]

Newer cars that have built-in electronic switching mounted above the plug-heads, i believe this device cannot be used in this way. Please double check before u purchase it as it can cause problem esp new cars. [:)]
