How to remove change the fuse.

Hi all,

 

Thanks in advance.

 

I have a Blaunpunkt set and i believe the fuse is blowned. Understand that there is a fuse within the electrical line before the set. kindly advice how to remove the main set to from the dashboard.

chk the power distribution 'fuses' panel 1st...there should be a 'radio' fuse for ur headset line...if it's still o.k....then boh pian liao...ur headunit fuse is [angel]

try if there's a possible to access by removing the dashboard's drawer to reach ur wiring lines..if cant..then got to take out the whole unit liao...ur conti car iszzt?

Thanks. Yes, mine is a Continental car, it should be no different with Japanese, in terms of how to slot the set into the dashboard console. There are 2 fuses and the external one is ok, hence, it is suspected that the one inside is blowned. It looks like the 13Amp fuse we use, but it is covered with a glass.

 

Cannot remember how it has been done, something like slotting wires into the 4 holes from the side of the set....been a while ago that i have muck around with cars stereo.
