Odyssey02 Clutched June 26, 2005 Share June 26, 2005 think wet handling not that good, wheel spins are quite common especially at slopes etc. comfort wise excellent.

Elantrahatch Neutral Newbie June 26, 2005 Share June 26, 2005 Do note that Aspec DB comes with 2 models. The lower range is the A300 and the higher range is the A500. I am running the Aspecs DB A500 on my Elantra. So far, its advantage over many tyres is the fact that it is very quiet. However, aquaplanning is quite common and I wouldn't push my car faster then 100km/h on wet weathers.
Octopus 3rd Gear June 26, 2005 Share June 26, 2005 A300 = Aspec A500 = Aspec DB Thread pattern between the two is slightly different, with the A500 having a continuous block in the middle.
Oreo Neutral Newbie June 26, 2005 Author Share June 26, 2005 I think i am quoted on the A300 if not wrong...
Oreo Neutral Newbie June 26, 2005 Author Share June 26, 2005 So Michelin Precedas is better?
Mavvy Clutched June 27, 2005 Share June 27, 2005 (edited) It all depends on your requirements... Between comfort and performance, you gotta sacrifice either side... I got precedas due to traction... I need something to rely on during wet and braking distance.. No more Aquaplanning.. but then that doesn't mean i can speed during wet/heavy waters.. Gradesm Neutral Newbie July 1, 2005 Share July 1, 2005 pilot precedas are really good.. but quite ex. before u start deciding what model u want, i suggest u go shop around and enquire on availability 1st. The normal profile for 16" is usually 205/46/R16 If u really want 205/50/R16 then remem to see how big the difference in price will be...
