all of the ebc's i know have at least a dual setting, high which is whatever you can set and low which is the same except its limited by the lowest setting of the actuator. Some of the better dual solenoid ones even adjust boost on each setting according to your gearing and rpm... but [bigcry] i cannot afford them... too exp...

Hehe, turbo acceleration is definitely good, but I prefer the sound of NA engines (eg. Ferrari). Turbo engines sound quite monotonous to me.

Like the linear power of NA engines too. [;)]

NA anytime for me. My friend's 350z insulted me in public during a 0-60kph drag without launch. [bigcry]

I changed all the inlet hoses, and the coolant outlet to 12mm braided ones (stock ones were 4mm). Only one thats stock is the oil return.

Where did you change them?

I'm in aust. I went to a hose shop. In singapore try and find a shop that makes steel braided hoses for indutrial machinery (esp the diesel powered ones), bring your current hoses to them and they should have no problem in fabricating one for you! Make sure that the hoses are meant for high pressure and are teflon coated on the inside k. Gotta run, got a cruise/meet on tonight, dun post too much or my eyes will hurt when i get back :p

aye he has too much $$$... nismo engine, nismo rims, exhaust... bloody hell everything that can be from nismo for the 350 he has (right down to the damn black plastic thing behind the back seats)... The twin scroll isn't standard (not even from nismo), from what i heard (never seen a TT 350) its purely aftermarket jap tuner..

i seriously need to find poorer friends coz i'm damn jealous of most of them now...

My friend's 83 VW GTI has this setup:

The engine's turbo manifold is on the back side of the engine (facing firewall) and the intake manifold is also in the back side of the engine (facing firewall). What kind of setup is that?

The engine is very smooth and quiet at high rpm.
