Here is the cheaper "solution" Get a 2 channel AV A/B switch which works the same way, sans the preamp and equilizer. CD---------| AV switch------>AMP------------>speakers MP3 -------| Cheapest option is to get two 2 to 1 RCA connectors. Just mute you CD/Radio when you play you MP3 player.
