Jho0001 Neutral Newbie June 24, 2005 Share June 24, 2005 Had VKool installed in my car today... lots of water bubbles and what look like water marks under the tint, sale guy or fitter told me they will disappear in about 2wks under the sun, is this true? Quality does not look so good for the money, just hope it improves over the next couple of weeks. ↡ Advertisement

Osiris 1st Gear June 27, 2005 Share June 27, 2005 (edited) 48hrs is for the film to cure, to adhere to the glass. winding down may cos the film to peel before it is set properly. Bubbles will disappear under the sun. if not, go back, they change it foc. Edited June 27, 2005 by Osiris
Wire Neutral Newbie June 27, 2005 Share June 27, 2005 Bubbles? You want to see my bubbles?? Vkool is a better choice. At least better than RikeCool. Lots of bubbles and scratches!! They just let the row of films row a on the floor and after it's been scratched, they pick it up and install the film to my Car!! Lots mor bubbles and scratches which can't been captured by my camera. More than 3 weeks and the bubbles are still there...... Jho0001 Neutral Newbie June 27, 2005 Author Share June 27, 2005 Hi Wire, Will they not replace for you due to workmanship and damage? I have a few light scratches and finishing isnt perfect. Bubbles are slowly disappearing on mine but still plenty of water streaks on the rear windows, hmmm. I hope it all works out in the end for you. Wire Neutral Newbie June 27, 2005 Share June 27, 2005 Hello JHO0001. That's the 2nd time they installed for me. The 1st time was even jialat. Don't intend to go back for the 3rd time. They may make it worse. No choice.
Wbucket Clutched June 28, 2005 Share June 28, 2005 Bro, keep going back. I went back 3 times. Your condition is a lot worse than what I went back for the third time. Now still acceptable, will go back as soon as it peels again. That is what you are paying so much for, 10 year waranty, man! As long as you go back and have patience, they will eventually do it right for you. Do contact Aloysius, he is the main sale guy (maybe manager) there. Wire Neutral Newbie June 28, 2005 Share June 28, 2005 So ka? In that case, maybe go back this weekend. Make sure they do until scratch. This time, will bring touch so that can see clearly and ask them to repair on the spot .
