Lokturne Neutral Newbie June 24, 2005 Share June 24, 2005 I'm in Australia atm, but coming down to Singapore next month to visit my gf's family. I'm looking forward to checking out the detailing scene there and the products that're available. Nice to see you guys have a healthy passion for detailing. I've never heard of Soft99 until I saw this forum. I might have to check that out. Any places that you guys would recommend I go to for the best range of products? Here's a pic of my car: In this pic it had 2 layers of NXT topped with #16. ↡ Advertisement

Gen2 Neutral Newbie June 24, 2005 Share June 24, 2005 (edited) Hi Lokturne, you car looks great but the photo looks a bit funny. The car looks very sharp but the surrounding looks very blur, it looks like a cut and paste photo . Edited June 24, 2005 by Gen2
Delvin Neutral Newbie June 24, 2005 Share June 24, 2005 cut and paste with the reflection on his car matches the surrounding?? Wao I wanna get the software. You selling?
Lokturne Neutral Newbie June 24, 2005 Author Share June 24, 2005 (edited) I photoshopped the background. Depth of field for the photographers. Here're some other cars I've worked on: Evo 5 wearing NXT: GT-T R34 wearing AIO/WG: I'm looking for more info on the best local spots to look for detailing supplies. Anybody wanna give me some info? Gen2 Neutral Newbie June 24, 2005 Share June 24, 2005 Oic, that explains the blurred area (never play with photo editing software before ) All the cars looks great and seems like you like using NXT wax, did you manage to try the new #21 ? It looks great too but it buff off easier than NXT, less streaking problem. I cannot say where is the best place to buy detailing products but if you want more variety, you can try Autobac or Stamford.
Lokturne Neutral Newbie June 24, 2005 Author Share June 24, 2005 Yup I've tried #21. Easier to use indeed but I prefer NXT on dark colours, especially when topped with #16.
Gen2 Neutral Newbie June 24, 2005 Share June 24, 2005 NXT top with #16 is one of my favorite combo too . But #16 no longer in production anymore .
Dtvox Neutral Newbie June 24, 2005 Share June 24, 2005 Try this place Concord Address: 12 Jalan Lembah Kallang (S) 339568 Telephone: 62920087 Recommended for: 1) Accessories And they do have a grate variety to choose from...However, they are not fond of putting the price tags on the product so you will have to constantly ask them to check on the PC for the actual pricing. From my experience, their price is fair...not necessary cheaper than elsewhere but definately not more expensive...
Leonknapp Clutched June 25, 2005 Share June 25, 2005 Hi there, Hope you will enjoy your trip here. Im sure memebers here will point out some great places for you to find detailing products. Personally I would recommend Stamford tyres at Changi. The address is 31 Loyang Way, Singapore 508729 Tel: 6542-3355. It has a good range of whats available in singapore like Soft99, Meguiars etc.. Here is a link of the map to Stamford Changi if you are keen on a visit: http://www.stamfordtyres.com/tpl/maps/changi.jpg Cheers! ↡ Advertisement
