well....found that the sponge underneath the front passenger side carpet (it's not the car mat...you have to lift up the carpet) was wet. decided to send to SA for a check....it was the air-con pipe (whatever u call it....it's the one that carries out the air-con condensation water) that was bringing the water in....need 2 days to drygossip.gif to the manager a while....got a courtesy car (thumbsup.gif not bad).....

collected my car today at 7+ pm frown.gif ....checked....found some scratches on the interior plastic frown.gif.......was promised a replacement.....so went home. opened boot......boot light not working furious.gif

trade off - "save" time by letting others dry my car, but gotta go back for the plastic and boot light

OR spend a day drying the car myself but with no other trouble....i don't know dead.gif

My BiW had the same complaint ! It is 30% design fault on the aircon housing and 70% fault on the front passenger long legs and itchy foot ! I studied the design and though the factory had a shield over the drain outlet ( located inside the car ! ), the rubber hose connecting the outlet is still exposed to the front passenger long foot ! It is not easily reached but with a very long foot, it would dislodge if it is pushed repeatedly ! They need to improve on this !

What to do when you are making out in the car and the other partner is so excited and kicking kicking all the time ??? [laugh][laugh]

Lucky for me, the Optra drain outlet is located outside the vehicle ! No wet carpet problem ! [laugh]

didnt take a look so not sure. i had 2 'wet' incidents after this. they blamed it on the ICE installation. said the rubber shield or something on the firewall wasnt put back properly after tapping the wire in from the battery. I can accept this explanation when it's the front passenger side but the 3rd was at the driver side leh...dizzy.gif

my fren likes to stretch her legs in my car sweatdrop.gif

This would be a very serious matter. I would screw the SA in this case. If theres water, you'll be looking a corrosion. If corrosion takes place, that particular part of the chassis would probably be the first to break off in an event of a *touch wood* crash.

Have it inspected for corrosion just to be on the safe side.

I used to bring in wet umbrella under heavy rain and the whole carpet is wet. Would that also caused corrosion?

I just went for my 10K servicing at SA Leng Kee. Although appointment is 8.30 a.m. I reached there at 8 a.m. The door is opened and the cleaner told me the service guy is around. Within 5 mins he was out and attended to me even it is just 8.15 am!

I called them at almost noon and they told me the car is ready. My right brake light is not working and they checked and found to be loose contact. I told them my steering seem to tilt towards the left and they rotate my tires. So what more do you want from Starsauto?

Maybe I am quite easily satisfied one lor. [rolleyes]

Like yourself, I think SA have made very good effort to satisfy all their customers. Only problem is, some of us think that our 5cts are as big as a bullock cart wheel and demand so much from the dealer, they bleed from the 7 holes on their body.

Guess Singaporean are in general, a difficult bunch of people to satisfy. Some are easier whilst some are hard and some others are impossible unless the dealer bend over and do a head dance for them ! [hur]

If not easily satisfied, DIY.

Like what those villians in movies always say. If you want something done, you don't send your henchmen. laugh.gif
