Hattee Neutral Newbie June 22, 2005 Share June 22, 2005 Is this too difficult to understand ... "... safer now to keep slightly on the rich side to avoid spiralling overheating if ever the mix goes thin when more heat generated than power. Seems co-incidental for cooling of the little petrol ... "
Fluffy Clutched June 22, 2005 Share June 22, 2005 Quote Contention is your exaggeration here and not the question fuel-air mix. Seems to me sustaining ideal stoichometric ratio is not yet perfected. Perhaps, still safer now to keep slightly on the rich side to avoid spiralling overheating if ever the mix goes thin when more heat generated than power. Seems co-incidental for cooling of the little petrol. Is an attempt to mislead for concealing the actual combustion heat generated and exaggerating the insignificant latent heat from the pony amount of petrol. "pony amount of petrol" ?? err........that's taking "horse"power a little too far! ↡ Advertisement
