Best frequency for iPod's iTrip?

i'm using itrip to beam my songs from my ipod to my car's speakers. Currently setting it at 87.9fm but still quite prone to lotsa interference....any bros out there using a better ferquency and care to share...

I think as long as you find a frequency that are away from those major radio stations you should be fine. The problem that I have is that my antenna is external and I have metalic tinted film so it has affected the iPod reception inside the car.

hi! in my opinion, the FM transmitter's sound is really quite bad, compared to if u just plug it into an aux into your head unit if u want one...or get an IPOD interface for your car..coz it really makes a lot of difference!!!

 

I actually have an alpine 9831 with the IPOD interface for it, it's less then a yr old...and i'm looking to sell it...u might be interested in that!
