Gen2 Neutral Newbie June 17, 2005 Share June 17, 2005 Just went down to the Zaino detailing shop @ Simon Road today and was told the last shippment just arrived not too long ago, so it will take a few months for the next new shippment to be arranged. Silgt Neutral Newbie June 17, 2005 Share June 17, 2005 I don't know if their fusion technology is anything new? It sounded very much like the "ruducing abrasive" technology adopted by Meguiar's on their #80, 83 & 85 polishes. Trust Sal to goes BANG with his marketing and the zelots to echo every claims he made. But still I will try a bottle if I manage to get my hand on one...pretty expensive tho...$13 for an 8oz bottle (good for 2~3 polishes???)
Valjean Neutral Newbie June 18, 2005 Author Share June 18, 2005 It's just as well; I've got my whole tube of ScratchX to use still.
Valjean Neutral Newbie June 18, 2005 Author Share June 18, 2005 You're right about that... Zaino-users will try out Z-PC no matter what actually is in that bottle. It is a much anticipated missing-step in the Zaino system!
Silgt Neutral Newbie June 19, 2005 Share June 19, 2005 You're right about that... Zaino-users will try out Z-PC no matter what actually is in that bottle. It is a much anticipated missing-step in the Zaino system! Zaino are still missing a few other steps even after Z-PC. AFAIK Z-PC is nothing special other than for the Zaino purist (aka Zealots) to save themselves a wash before going into Z-2 etc. Is that necessary? Can the high cost be justified? Could AIO do the same job and allow Z to layer on top of it? Will Z-PC work very much like (or even match the performance of...) the Menzerna twin or a Meg's #80 & #83 at a fraction of the cost? Buy into the hype for all you like...I'm using Z-system purely to satisfied my curiosity and wanting to know if they are "THAT" much better as claimed! So far I am fairly underwhelmed. In terms of cost-performance, they are no match for many other systems out there in the market. All in all, Z is not a bad product by any means, just way over-priced and way over marketed....my miserable 2 ↡ Advertisement
