Gendut 2nd Gear April 3, 2006 Share April 3, 2006 You can ask at Xinzhong, I've totally am clueless on how much is the relay. You're a bit unlucky I suppose cos I just threw out an almost new fan cos been posting for pple to come pick it up but it appears it is not destined to be in a car. Have you tried to check whether the fan give you a blast or just whirring? If it can start and stop, my guess is that its not the relay. ↡ Advertisement
Skodarr Neutral Newbie April 3, 2006 Share April 3, 2006 (edited) If I am not wrong, the relay cost something like 180 to 200 ... I change it almost every year on my previous Octy 1.8T as it's real hot in the engine bay ... Servo do keep stock for this item. You might want to drop by dude ... Fortress Clutched April 5, 2006 Author Share April 5, 2006 Ha...saved myself S$200 bucks. It was a burned fuse box that caused the fuse to fused onto it. Was told by CAS that it is a common problem. Managed to get the fuse out and the metal piece was replaced by and plate (home made).

Therefore, will require to change the whole unit ... For NA maybe slightly better cause the heat inside the bay is much cooler so might not damage the unit ...
