Rumour that LTA is changing rule on tinted windows to be stricter. So all people out there, be careful. The next check might not pass viacom.

Thinking of changing to the Edix soon. Is it true that the rear tinted windows (5 of them) will not pass the inspection?

Checked with Hup Long at AML (PI) and they did mentioned something about changing the rear windscreen.

 

By the way, is Pinnacle that "notorious"?

No lah did not top up 4 e leather, e micro fabric seat from Japan is good enough.

All PI will tell u different storey. Eg, Vincar say they will replace 4 u free as e tinted don comply w only 2% different more & HY, Hwa Yang, Chip Guan & Pinnacle inform e original tinted do comply to LTA. To me what e hack just drive for 3 yrs till e inspection date n see how it goes. Who know maybe LTA will come out w new Rule on Tinted glass again.

OOps, u ask about Pinnacle & to my opinion just make sure ur contract stated clearly w no hidden cost & spell out clearly what other accessories u wan to top up. For ur infor all PI r e same they just wan to make money. Pinnacle has e best deal so far w guranteed 4 bids COE. Check it out mann......

umm.. one last question, any "stories" from this PI (Pinnacle) that has been going around? The last story I read about a few months ago was some PI director from a PI in Turf City that took the deposits and cabot.. and others where hidden costs comes in when delivering the vehicle...

Yes i know, what i mean is that after 3 yrs they will be an ispection 4 new car. And to my knowledge from e PI what they normally do is that they will replace w e clear glass and get e car inspected and change it back to tinted again before they hand over e car to buyer.

Test driven this car, found the engine a little unrefined. Can any Edix owners

comment on performance as well as FC. Very keen to buy but a little worried.

Choice is between Mazda 5 and Edix. Then again, with fuel price sky high, may have

to consider Wish.

Whether it is Wish or M5 or Edix, so long as it is MPV, it willl drink.

 

But if you want fuel efficiency, you can consider the Daihatsu Hijet 1.3l stationwagon which seats 7.

 

You can get 14 to 15km/l.
