Sky8807 1st Gear June 10, 2005 Share June 10, 2005 Is this your worst FC figure? If it is then, the next fillup will be better.
Osiris 1st Gear June 10, 2005 Share June 10, 2005 Bro, could be you are caught in jam, drive more often in the hot sun, longer waiting period, more city driving etc that cause it to drop. Is not a drastic drop. Check air tyre pressure but I reckon is just a 'normal' deviation

Brock 1st Gear June 10, 2005 Share June 10, 2005 Honestly, unless the weather is really cool and nice outside, why switch off the air-conditioning to gain FC? Might as well in the beginning tell the car dealer, "Can remove air-conditioning unit? Reduce price can as well?"
Benson Neutral Newbie June 10, 2005 Author Share June 10, 2005 seriously thinking of mod my car. any suggestion? voltage stab? change spark plug? Brock, seems you have done your fair share of mod, any improvement both in performance and FC?

Brock 1st Gear June 10, 2005 Share June 10, 2005 My mods don't affect FC if you actually go through my mod list. Mine mods are mainly cosmetics. The only thing would be the Tornado cables (which really help in cranking, idling RPM and gear shifting) and the Voltage Stabiliser and grounding (which I believe there is a slight improvement in FCm though minimal). My FC has been going up for the past few pumps. In the beginning was 8km/l. Slowly increasing to 10km/l already. It's a gradual but slight increase. Like what Genie advised, no one behind me, German eco-style driving, 2k rpm shift. If not, 2.5k rpm shift. I'm practising fast gear shift changes so as to climb up as fast as I can to save fuel. And also, to take the longer but faster route if possible. So far, his advice helps me.
