Increase Avatar Memory Size

How about increasing memory space allocated for avatar, so that we can have more interesting avatars with .gif

Maybe if they could make it such that we could link it to an external site, then there's no need to increase the space. Thus the forum can load faster too.

Cannot lah! Even with broadband all this increase in avatar size will slow things down. Especially for the animated ones. People want to read postings. If want good avatar, sexy babe will be nice but must fit MCF guidelines.

Shd b glad tat we get to put avatar... some other forum does even hv such functions n some limited their avatar to 10k file size!!!!!

Many of the avatar size issues have been answered by our follow forumers. We'd like to keep the file size as they are right now to keep loading speeds up and keep the focus on the postings.

 

You might also know that we had many issues in the past with avatars that revealed "too much".

I know that there was some issues with members with revealing avatar as it was on the sticky.

 

What makes you guys think that more memory equals more revealing avatar ??

Anywayz it was just an suggestion cos I saw some other forums with interesting avatars. They were pretty cool. Imagine animations of WRX racing on tracks for a avatar. It was around 600k size
