Recently I've also posted a question on where to buy 3M Glass Cleaner. Actually I posted the query on behalf of my friend, who is looking for this product to clean away some stubborn stains on his windscreen......

Anyway, didn't managed to find 3M Glass Cleaner, but he got the Autoglym Glass Polish instead. Seems like he's quite satisfy with the glass polish.nod.gif

Eversince I claybar my ride I realised I cant use the AG polish cos it seemed to make the windscreen very clean but sticky tat my blades judder or move only a little bit [confused] The screen became too squeeky, maybe cos I did something silly [blush] use claybar on the blade [hur]

Wat I did was use the older blade n apply the polyglaze windscreen wiper wash concentrate to polish the screen. Now the blades r working fine with occassional judder. furthermore I oso clean my screen regularly with the screen cleaner from turtlewax. Hvnt reapply the wiper wash since then.

According to Mr Genie Guru, something changed the surface composition of your windshield, and nothing short of changing a windscreen or polishing it with CeO (not ask your CEO to polish your windscreen for you) is going to solve the problem... [sweatdrop]

So the AG polish actually did the damaged n not the claybar?... I tot its the claybar on the screen n on the blade. Lucky still hv tat blade, might try the blade again since I stopped using the AG polish for quite awhile.

Question: Why need rain-x if u using silicon wiper blades? tot they r the best n most costly. [rolleyes]

Rain-X works differently. Once applied on windscreen will slide off water while during driving. It is good when driving around 80kph or higher during rain. Without it when in heavy rain you can't see the raod clearly even slow speed dur heavy down pour. This ever happen to me in the N-S highway. Totall cannot see the road at all. Even wiper turn on fully cannot make it.

Setback, if not enough water on windscreen, the wiper will judder. Rather irritating. So I seldom turn on wiper until sufficient water. judging through your experience.

I don't know. Does the AG polish produce the beading effect? I heard that if it does, then it has modified the the composition of the windsceen permanently. Nothing short changing the windscren or polishing it with CeO is going to solve the problem. It isn't going to go away on its own. [sweatdrop]
