Protection against chips for body kit

Hi all,

 

Am relatively new to this forum....just wanna ask u guys if there are any protection for those chips caused by road stones or what ever they will chip off your paint on the low end of your car like the front lip and side skirts??

 

went to malacca recently, come back the front lip got a lot of small chips off the paint...black lip become like got small poka dots...any remedy besides re spray??thinking if got a big sticker stick all across the front lip....

yes, 3m transparent tape over the paintwork. sorta will protect a fair bit. but u know since science and energy is factor of mass * acceleration. bottomline: no 100% protection.

Any idea where to find this tape??is it possible to get something that will be as shiny is black paint and stick over cos no point stick transparent as mine got quite a lot of white dots.....wonder if those sticker shops like spec r will do it...

best u check some of the older magazines. i know tat besides this 3m product, there is also another japanese sticker also.

 

but if u want black decals for cars, yes, i believe specs-r will b able to do it for u.
