Magfocus 5th Gear April 7, 2002 Share April 7, 2002 Why dont you change the pads first? They might do just fine Cheaper somemore! If its still spongy, can think of this instead!
Mondeo Neutral Newbie April 7, 2002 Author Share April 7, 2002 Pads and brake lines also need to be changed. Those money can not save lah.
Madarmour Neutral Newbie April 7, 2002 Share April 7, 2002 You can check with Speedworks. Mr Loo carries Sparco steel braided hose (got mine from him). If you finally manage to find a set, do contemplate using DOT 5.1 brake fluid too, since you gotta bleed the fluid while changing the hoses. While you are looking, maybe you can consider Brembo Max slotted brake disc too! Agree with you that braking power must be optimised and that money for these stuffs cannot be saved! Turbobrick Neutral Newbie April 7, 2002 Share April 7, 2002 CS Autolabs or Autofix can do custom S/S braided hose for you (Goodridge brand from UK). They'll need your car there so that they can crimp the hose to your stock brake line connectors.
Mondeo Neutral Newbie April 7, 2002 Author Share April 7, 2002 Yes, must use DOT 5.1, how much for u set? Brembo or Brembo Max has yet to develop for My Mondy. PCD108 x5 /CB 63.4mm

Sparetyre Neutral Newbie April 8, 2002 Share April 8, 2002 Hi TB, How many sets are required for a car? BTW, will this void the warranty of the car? Thanks.
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie April 8, 2002 Share April 8, 2002 4 hoses per car, shouldn't affect warranty unless the hose breaks then must go back to the workshop who did it rather than agent. Mondeo is going to Autofix to check it out, let's wait for his field report ↡ Advertisement
