W210k 1st Gear June 2, 2005 Share June 2, 2005 I understand that both the Stilo Coupe and 5-door models come only with Selespeed. That is a main concern to me, since Alfa's Selespeed is (even in the most recent incarnation) very jerky when driven in 'City' (Auto) mode. So if I want a pure manual, the Michael Shumacher version is the only Stilo to get? Is this the Abarth version? What I really like is the 2.4L 5-cylinder 20v engine. I am sure its burble is very similar to the Volvo's 5-pot engines. BTW what are the Stilo specs for the following: - Front and rear brake disc diameters - Steering full lock-to-lock turns - Front suspensions Macpherson struts? With strut bar? - Rear suspensions multilink or torsion beam? With strut bar? - Any chance the Abarth version comes with double wishbones suspensions, like Michael's F1 Ferrari? Alternatively, the other manual route for me is the Punto HGT, but that will mean I have to take a hit on the power rating, having to downgrade to only 130+ bhp. Do you have the 0-100 time for the HGT? I understand its pretty light <1,200 kg ... so may be quick, but crash safety would also be an issue. Any NCAP ratings for either the Stilo or Punto? Anywhere near 5-star rating? What items will be locally-fitted (vs factory fitted - I'd prefer the latter)? - Leather seats - Hifi-radio HU - Speakers - Body kit Lastly, what will the prices be? Thanks in advance for any advice that you can give.
