supercharging your car is equivalent to tc-ing, but much more reliability....however, also abit ex.......

there are 2 types of supercharger available, but i not sure what's the name liao....but the brand that is definitely compatible for honda is jackson racing......power wise, it's much more linear than tc, as it uses the pulley belt to spool up the air.....

penalty, i guess mercz has already told u....all i can tell u is that for supercharger, it's not that visible as compare to tc as it's almost identical to your intake manifold....and the brand can be grind off......the workshop ppl will know what to do one lah......:p

with turbo charging, the turbine actually spools at a certain rpm, unlike super charging where the power kicks in the moment you step ur foot on the gas

Hi Guys,

been thinking of this for some time. CAn a honda's vtec engine be turbo charged without losing its vtec advantages?

You're refering to twin cam vtec or single cam vtec bro?

relac lah, power is always very very addictive one....to have a good and reliable car, i suggest that u start thinking abt doing your driveability first....work on your car handling b4 working on the engine.....fast car also need bigger brake, better suspension, better tires to handle.......got hugh horsepower but no brake....
