Danica Patrick takes 4th on Indy 500

The US forums are abuzz with her go at the Indy 500. Everytime she was in the lead, the crowd went wild. She raced in Formula Ford and F3 in UK before. A great accomplishment for women in the likes of Michelle Mouton.

 

Quite surprised to know she was a high school cheerleader from Illinois.

 

Because she was small in stature and weigh less than 100lbs, there are some crazy idiots who feel that this sport should be kept in the men's domain accused her of being unfair being so lightweight http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/raci...ex.html?cnn=yes

 

I like the picture of her in the Sports Illustrated CNN site. She looks very fierce and determined.

It's been a long time since a woman made a dent in major motorsports. I won't support her just because of her gender though, that's sexist.

 

And those whiners who say she has an advantage because of her small size should grow up, lose weight or just shut up. Talk about sore losers...
