Any one try before this Xtreme Spark Optimizer? (Refer to HOTSTUFF magazine

issue 30)

 

It is said to be able to increase horsepower of the car, better fuel

efficiency.

 

Appreciate if someone can comment on this.

Heard need to cut between wires for the connection. Concern for cars under warranty. Anything to play with the ignition timing, need more research..

i just installed it... it BS, another snake oil product, no difference in HP whatsoever. So much talk from the installer and nothing to show for it after installing it. I'm a fool. v3.2 too. Didn't do a thing except light an extra LED. now I don't know how to remove it without going back and asking them to take it out.

i not only got cheated, but kenna chop carrot head also, other people get it for 150, i paid 180... wah lau... feel very sian. next time no more small fry mods.

Hi Spade. In my other thread, u mention u bot the Pivot spark ignition stabilizer but nw u said u juz got the Spark optimizer install. These 2 are actually diferent products. So I presume wat u bot is this xtreme spark optimizer & not the pivot 1 rite?

notice that the phrase "increase horsepower, increase torque, reduce consumption, cleaner combustion... blah blah.".. always appears on any of the 'mod's that u can find on the shelves....

 

followed by what appears to be a dyno results of the car after installation.... classic patterns

Yes, sadly I got BOTH installed... that's why I feel so burnt... I actually tried the Pivot Spark Red first... this made my engine definitely feel smoother, quieter idle and quiter revving. No performance gain though... so I recalled the installer's word, "the Xtreme Spark Optimizer got definite boost, we install normally both together on all cars we come across..." so, after driving around with a smooth engine, I was itchy for more power, and fell into the installer's BS trap.

 

I won't say bad about the Pivot Spark red because I went to the website... they did not promise more torque, better acceleration, better fuel economy BS... but they promised a smoother engine response which is precisely what it delivered.

i think i know which installer you're talking about..he also tried the same trick on me!..i only installed the pivot spark tho..
