Digital speedo??

Recommended Posts

My installer used the wrong wire, so my speed display shows wrong numbers anyway, although the refresh rate is like once per sec. [sweatdrop] But why would it be so laggy as evthing is electronics driven, cant see the logic leh.

If you are looking for big big digital speedo, then Apexi RSM is the way to go...but no TT functions...

I have a Pivot Speed meter lying around if you want to buy it [:p]

No TT functions as well though

Yes you need to nail the correct wire. Very common mistake. I'm not sure about the electronic parts but from what I see its extremely laggy. Even normal acceleration can lag quite a bit in terms of being a few kph behind actual speed.

With the Apexi RSM, the RPM gives almost real time feedback and the speed readings are almost real time. Besides. TT aren't meant to perform the function of a speedo so ... gotta get the RSM instead. [sweatdrop]

For 0-400 timings remember to buy the G sensor otherwise it'll give you incorrect readings due to wheelspin etc. Even than, it is still inaccurate to the 0.000 seconds. [drivingcar]

I guess it depends on one's purpose for the digital display eventually. Will the RSM gives more accurate and more real time readings than cluster's speedometer? [sweatdrop]
