New car- what to upgrade

Driving city just got it 2 weeks ago.

Thinking to make some mods.

iVTEC or iDSI model?

iVTEC can mod alot but iDSI lesser.

Bodykit - too expensive to do.

I think the price is about 800-1200.

 

visors - not sure to do.

hear that it will create extra sounds.

city is already quite nosiy

least u can do with is drop in high flow airfilter & C.A.I. tube to improve some power.

for exhaust system, can visit Fong Kim or Man exhaust experts.

can use Mobil 1 or Amsoil or ChemLube or Redline 15W30 grade oil after run in engine.

Hey regarding on air filter, which will be more recommended because I'm planing to fix it too. The drop-in or open pod? I heard that open pod will take higher heat intervention and will cos power lost... issit true??

For new cars, better stick to stock air-intake setup...........open pod, u loose too much low end. So not suitable for Sg roads. Yes, heated intake air is the main cause of power loss at low-end.

So is more advisible to fix the drop-in filter for Sg road? I was thinking off improving

my pickup and power but not sure wat mod to fix hehe.... Currently my ride is a 1.3 manual YRV N.A. Any advise?

As said earlier, improved intake & exhaust flow will help.

Other add-ons cost $$$$$$$ and power-per-dollar issue is a contention to many.

Is yer take. Why not get a TC-ed YRV Sport?
