Have to rev a bit higher at between 1k - 1.6k to change gear. If normal rev to above 2k, the engine will roar. [shakehead] Last time, my car hit 90km at 2.5k rpm. Now 90km at between 1.6k - 1.8k rpm.

What u saying here don't make sense???

How can the RPM b lower now when travelling at 90km/h. Do u mean u r in the same gear (ie. 5th gear on the manual gearbox)? If so, it's NOT POSSIBLE.

Only explanation is the RPM meter is faulty. Get it checked.

Only carburated engines have manual or auto choke.EFI engines us the lambda sensors to regulate the fuel.

obviously ur tachometer is not accurate...petrol engine cant stay idle @ 200rpm...even @ 400rpm ...the engine will be 'shaking' badly...the engine rubber mounting in no time will be [angel]

Suggest u get a workshop diagnostic machine to chk... [:)]

Sorry buddy, but what u have posted here don't make any sense at all.

My only suggestion to u is to send your car to a reliable workshop to get all your problems checked by a professional.

Not much more advise I can give to u.
