Bhaal Neutral Newbie May 19, 2005 Share May 19, 2005 Damn heartache! I just collected my brand new white Altis on Tue evening & went to top up petrol and I left it to the pump attendant to do it. I didn't really check the car when I got back as it was raining. The next day I notice a light pinkish stain on the paint below the petrol hatch, some petrol must have spilled onto the car body and left a stain on the paintwork. I tried wiping it with water but couldn't get it off. Any bro here know how to remove petrol stain without affecting the paintwork? ↡ Advertisement

Linus Clutched May 19, 2005 Share May 19, 2005 bro. try 3M swirl marks remover. its abt near to $20 per bottle. get the one for light color cars. (they have another with the same bottle for dark color cars) on the external they will mention it. can get at home fix-it shops or major car accessory shops. this is a real power one. try it and good luck. Fcw75 Hypersonic May 19, 2005 Share May 19, 2005 (edited) Better to top up yourself, esp new cars. Some will overfill untill the petrol flow out, some will even forgot to replace the fuel tank cap back... Been pumping my car myself since I got it 2 years + ago...
