Best of all is to go for coilover system but it will be costly, example, the brand TIEN.

If not, you can just get lowering spring to use with your stock shock but go for branded one like tanabe or kg/mm

Preferably, change the shock also as after putting lowering spring, the stock shock would not last. Go for koni which are adjustable and they are quite cheap for Civic.

most workshops in Spore do not reply. maybe scared of competition asking.

i have a recent enquiry about Sachs/Boge shocks and out of the list of 10 approved workshops in Spore, only 4 replied. so much for customer service...

do check if they had broken down the related shock items, like shock absorbers, shock sponges (could be called kits), shock mounts. Coil springs are expensive and usually not changed, but this depends on your driving patterns.

i believe Shell Proserv was offering a Koni shock set at about S$400++ a while ago. you may want to check this out.

the coil, do you mean the spring? I dont think need to change, spring can last quite long, unless you want the lowered, performance type. I change to Hotbits spring after i get bumpy ride from cut spring.

the shop is at yew tee ind park, blk 1

Eng Hup, look for Simon. they have monroe($55+), takiko($40+),koni($110+) shocks too. but the koni quite exp as compare to selegie spareparts($420+ if you buy 4).

hope this help. [thumbsup]

Go for GAB... you can try Jeep Chee...

GAB shocks with tanabe or Kg/mm spring is quite a good combination....

Firm but not bouncy....

Very subjective...don't know how much comfort or sportiness you are seeking.....what is comfortable to me might be too firm for you.....

Give Jeep Chee a call for the prices....

you can get the number from the yellow pages or business listings...
