Spango Clutched May 13, 2005 Share May 13, 2005 Hi folks! I am thinking of cleaning my aircon filter on my Aveo. Where is it located, and is it easily accessible? Anyone tried taking it out before? Need to unscrew anything? Lastly, does SA bother to clean it during servicing? ↡ Advertisement

Brock 1st Gear May 16, 2005 Share May 16, 2005 Bro, They are 12.8v. Think should be ok. Bought them at McWells. Anyway, I seldom switch on fog lamps unless it's super-duper heavy rain. I still have the stock ones.
Brock 1st Gear May 17, 2005 Share May 17, 2005 Quote Just open and pull out towards you. The hinge is plastic. Maybe you can lube it a bit before putting back. Thanks Genie. I tried it today. Pretty difficult to yank it out. But with a bit more effort, managed to get it out and remove the filter. However, I noticed that you've got to slant the filter 90 degrees to the left so as to take it out since there is some obstruction in the front. ↡ Advertisement
