How a mod is selected here?

Can someone tell me how the moderators are being selected here? Just curious the difference between clubs/forums. Besides deleting nonsense threads, what else do u do?

I guess it's also to 'cool off' heated exchanges between members, make the forum's stands clear, make new member feel welcomed, help organise meets, event, etc....

3 Key Criteria

1. The no of Tigers he/she can down within meetup?

2. Ability to entertain meetup crowd

3. Engrish must be good

 

In line with what they need to do

1. This help in point no 2.

2. Entertain forummers

3. Know engrish to read and delete threads.

The best person to answer this would be either Admin or Turbobrick. Cos they are the BOD (Board of Directors)

 

In short.

 

Mods are being selected by BOD or recommendation by fellow Mods.

 

If a Mod doesn't perform his job well or if he were found to have any conflict of interest with MCF, he/she will be removed from the Team.

 

Most of the Mods are given certain responsibilities.

 

For example:

Yeoman take care of the Chevy Group.

Genie47 and Steam take care of the Starlet Group.

C708 and Skoda_man take care of the VAG Group.

Carben and Gad take care of Autospeed Group.

 

For General Folders, After Market, Asian Makes and Western Wheels. The workload is split among Jazziegirl, Ace_T, Assassin and Gad.

 

Mods dun just delete post. Mods do monitor the thread and posting made, and if someone is found guilty of trying to be 'funny'. Action will be taken.

 

As much as we wun want to, but at times, we are forced to terminate accounts. However, that will be after we have gather sufficient 'evidence'.

 

Am not sure about other forums, but mods here do take their role seriously.
