The new optra stock comes with the same grill. for me, I only interested in the supercharge setup [laugh] wonder if GM is willing to write an approval that the superchargers and intercooler setup for the 2L are safe to install on local 1.6 optra. [sweatdrop]

no, its the real thing. Pic is from GM direct. Check out the link form the top, there is more pic and a official article. Anyway, dun think SA will sell it. No market for it [laugh] Unless the Wtcc version can do some wonders on the track, else its just another good looking beef up car.

Nope. Only engine displacement increases road tax. Looks promising. If SA follow the model of outsourcing the servicing and sell the cars cheap here. We got many cheap Optralutions on the road. laugh.gif

LTA mention supercharging and Turbo charging may be approved if manufacturer give the green light in paper to certified that the setup is suitable for the under power siblings model. Its should not increase road tax as mention by genie since the native CC remains. But the road to get it done is long, expensive and hard and pehaps almost impossible since there must be an authorised installer to do the installation ( I dun want SA to do this even if they willing to). I more worried about insurance which is more costy. maybe no company want to insured you even [laugh]
