Brock 1st Gear May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 Quote i did of course the cheapest lah....frankly the only difference with the expensive which i personally witness it the rear two side door windows and rear windscreen...the front side and windscreen all same for all packages.... well car is much cooler now man. added a windscreen decal...lagi cooler even more. personally i think it's worth it. i believe the offer still on. juz go www.perfect.com.sg. takes abt 1 1/2hr include waiting time. Xtraun, So it's the LexTint Eco package right? Which did you opt for? $250 for whole car or $150 for half car? What is the specific difference between these two? I'm seriously considering now after your experience...
Mivec9 1st Gear May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 yes lextint economy package...well everyone took the whole car package of $200 each for group of 5. I was saying before 2005, Perfect charged only $150 each for group of 5....heart pains again...50 dolar...
Mivec9 1st Gear May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 oh well if half car...then something like half the coolness...aiyah top up $50 for full effect...worth it lar...lai lar lai lar....
Mivec9 1st Gear May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 some discussion i ripped off from earlier thread, good info for ur decision making, bro: "installed their films yesterday. Package is Lex tint Economy. Its $250, damn, missed a few days, coz before 1 Jan it was $200 under promo. Anyway, this package is, the front films are from Sumitomo(Japan), higher transparency(73% VLT), but 50% heat reduction. However, the back films are from USA, darker tints (28% VLT), but only 30% heat reduction. You can actually choose various VLTs, also can have both Sumitomo films which have higher heat reduction on both front and back, but its more transparent. According to your preference, whether you want dark or more heat reduction."
Brock 1st Gear May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 (edited) So, it's front screen, 4 side windows and rear windows? What color did u choose? Any pics to show? If it's green light, I'll probably go for clearer tint with higher heat reduction. Edited May 7, 2005 by Brock

Bro, The front side and windscreen got difference one. The IR rejection rating is higher. When I did mine there, I saw another car doing the $788 package. Then on the whiteboard beside the car, they wrote the code number for the film which is different from mine(Lextint Eco) on my whiteboard. Then I saw they cut the film from another roll of film different from mine for the front side and windscreen. Thats why they have Ray Barrier, Ray shield and Lextint. Frankly speaking, I don't feel much cooler. I would say not that hotter than without the film. Edited May 7, 2005 by Xavier
Mivec9 1st Gear May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 yes..basically all windows. i chose the green colour..the perfect guy told me...the darker the colour, the less heat reduction...so i chose the lightest tint colour.
Xavier Neutral Newbie May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 (edited) Bro, Lextint got 12 colour to choose but don't have the light green one. only got an ugly army green colour. Edited May 7, 2005 by Xavier
Mivec9 1st Gear May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 i guess for $788, they may be using the best...not sure for other packages cos i saw one guy took lextint standard or something packages and it was the same. as for coolness...if u put ur car under hot sun for several hours, even with V-cool also will feel hot. But generally i do feel it is cooler nw than without...cos my A/C used to suck..until recently i repaired A/C.
Brock 1st Gear May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 Thanks for the pics. Nice! So you chose green color and that was the lightest tint color?
Brock 1st Gear May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 (edited) Wah seh... I hate making decisions on so many choices... But bro, thanks for the pic! At least I can select 1st before going down. What about the light blue one? The bottom right hand corner of the left panel of your pic? 1.5 hours to do it? Edited May 7, 2005 by Brock
Xavier Neutral Newbie May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 If you see the green in real, it is not like those V-kool type of green. It is darker.

Xavier Neutral Newbie May 7, 2005 Share May 7, 2005 Depend got car waiting or not. If no car, they can finish in 45 mins or lesser. They got 4 to 5 person doing one car, so thats why so fast. But they really work fast, very pro. Like seasoned already. If got one or two car, then probably its about 1 to 1.5hrs. They got 2 lane for doing the tint.
