My N16 Auto Sunny battery was flat as I forgot to off the parking lights. I took the battey out to recharge. Now, the car is running, battery volts 12.7, alternator charge 13.8, but idling when is Drive position and brakes on is low about 500 rpm sometimes. On the move when heavy braking when coming to stop, car vibrates and feels like cutting off ignition and steering feel is heavy like lost of vacumn assist pressure. Is there something wrong or it takes a while to adjust ?

Correct me I may be wrong - I believe your car do not have the "keep alive Memonry" chip so disconnecting the battery will not in any way change or erase the default programming in the CPU.

Looks like your battery is either not properly charge or the plates are actually ageing and not able to retain the electrons.

To confirm your battery status you need to do a load test. You can start your car, get the engine rpm to 2,500 and switch on all the accessoires, radio, headlight ( highbeams ) air-con ( blow at max speed) and then take the voltage reading at the battery teminals. Good condition battery should not drop below 12.7 volt.

When off or on aircond its still above 500 rpm, but its when you slow down to stop that it starts to fall close to 500. But car is more free revving. I will monitor and see how it goes.

I dont thinks its the battery. Any way will do a test as what you advised just to rule out the possibility.

should b nothing wrong... since most new cars r designed to be Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) or Ultra LEV (ULEV), therefore, when idling, the rpm r set by ECU at extremely low level.

as long as alternator is charging up, should b ok, let the fuzzy logic in the ECU adapts itself.
