F***! why are all the Chevy engines accepting Si into their engines?! mad.gif My Aveo after 30k also same thing. Tell you what, the next time, I'm using vacuum grease to seal up the edges of the air filter when I install a new one to see.

Why did this company do a V@40C for you. No meaning. Doesn't tell you anything! What you are concerned with is V@100C. To know whether the oil has stayed in grade or not. No TBN? This doesn't tell you how long more the oil can last.

Glycol actually tells you if there is a coolant leak. No or low glycol means no leak. Coolant system in good health.

Tin looks OK. Low bearng wear. I'm a little worried about the iron and copper. How come so much......F***! must be the Si in the oil. unimpressed.gif

Compare your results with Audiorook's. You can check in BITOG his results with his Ipsum.

These guys must have either tasted the oil and instantly knew the results in the brains or must have sent the oil sample to DSTA for lab analysis...

These guys are [scholar] while me [hur]

Kopikao,

I am keen to learn how to understand these figures. Where would you suggest I start? Any good books or web links?

Also, like the rest, how did you get these figures???

You wise guidance appreciated [:)]

You meant that you use DSTA to test for all this . How much did it cost you or because you work in DSTA? [laugh][laugh][laugh]
