5K servicing

Going for my 5k servicing soon in ubi. What should I ask them about my FC of 9.5km/l ? Can they do something? Being using Shell98 at the beginning then switch to 95 cos of price. Should they change the ron ?

IMO, 9-10km/l is quite normal for car to run in.. esp aveo and optra

my car is optra auto and my driving is not rough. On the specs, consumption should be 9.1l/100km for urban drive which means almost 11km/l. The specs for Altis are the same, but altis got better FC. Does it means that we are being cheated by SA?

Toyota Altis have this VVT-i engine which is well known for good FC

my friend Altis's fc is about 15km+/1l

 

Specs is same but not engine. So that makes the difference. The weight of Optra is also much heavier than Altis for Altis being a Jap car

Why they put consumption specs the same if it's not true for optra? .

agreed. SA can even prove that the spects is correct i,e drive the car on the highway for 50km air con off..

anyway FC will sure improve after run in 10-20k and changing to FUll Syn oil.my FC(auto) used to get 10km/l now usually 11-13 depends on %highway.

That's a good figure. hope that mine would get there or better after running in. Mine is at 4K mileage.

I got 11.2 with manul and most time highway. Check with some ALtis user, more than 12. Optra is high FC. User guide one is theoritical data, can't trust. Do remember Optra is heavy than altis, and latter good at FC. So i think above 11 is acceptable.
