After reading through a few forum, there seems to be a pretty good review on Collinite #885 Fleetwax and #845 Insutation Wax, LONGEST LASTING Carnauba wax [thumbsup] . Very tempted to order but before doing that just checking any bro or sis here has tried this product and willing to give some feedback. Especially Bro Genie47 seems to have mentioned about this wax the most in this forum. [;)]

So far from most of the reviews the #845 Insulator Wax can already last for 3-4 months can't imagine how long can #885 Paste Fleetwax last [shocked][shocked][thumbsup].

I'm not too sure about that but for a carnuaba wax I would say it is the longest lasting wax that I know of. I really like the carnauba wax kind of look on my car so very tempted to try. [:p]

Thought of that too. After doing some checking, the estimated price for #845 and #476S will cost around S$30 - S$35. How many Bros will be interested to place order ? To enjoy the price they quoted we must have at least 20 nos. (QTY) in total. So can we have a show of hands to see whether we can do a mass order to enjoy the discount. Btw do we need to have a import license to do the mass order ?

I've used collinite wax as a lsp for some time now. Applied to a properly prepped surface, it can last up to 6 months in our weather. I last waxed in oct and my car is still beading. Quite worth the price. My present can will probably last a few years.

BTW, i used Collinite 476s only. Fleetwax is for boats. You can try the paste fleetwax but the liquid fleetwax is not safe for clearcoats. Their newest wax is 915 which is reportedly longer lasting though i havent tried it yet. [;)]

Hi Rabican glad to see your feedback on the wax [thumbsup] . Beside the 6 months of protection, does #476s gives the car the wet look ? And how much did you pay for your #476s ? [;)]

To some extent yes, there is a wet look, though not as deep as what you can get with P21S. I use Collinite more for durability than looks. I've heard from others that layering the wax will give a deeper wet look, but I've not tried that yet - too lazy! [:/]

I bought the wax when I was in the US last year. I think it cost me about US$12 per can. The store I ordered from provides free shipping in the US. To ship to Singapore is an additional US$30 I think. [;)]

Sorry Kaiserdome, my pics and car are all in Singapore! I won't be back for quite a while.

The wax looks good, lasts long, but if you decide to use it, remember to prep the surface first as there are no cleaners in the wax. Also, apply it very thinly or it's going to be murder to buff off! [:p]

Well, I'd be most willing to help [:)], but I'm in Bangkok now and won't be back to US until Oct! There cheap thai made car-glo here if anyone's interested...[laugh]

VPost i think only applies to some websites, Amazon.com is one of them. They do sell some detailing products but the last i checked, no collinite.
