Cost of sound damping..

i've been quoted $190 for sound damping my 2 front doors using hyperflex (or somehting along that line)...

 

issit a reasonable deal?

Make sure they are doing double layers for each door... Single layer will not make much different. For double layers for 2 front doors cost around $220-$250 depend on the brands. Hope that will help.

what brand would be good for a person like me who just wnats a reasonable upgrade... ie: not going for ICE competitions... hehe

I used Raamat. DIY. S$270 for the material. I did 1 layer for all 5 doors and still have about 50% left. It takes time and isn't easy. But it is cheap and fulfilling.

I SP 4 doors 2 layer wirh accumat for 480, few months later price drop to 400.

Any bro here SP the firewall, donno whether the diff is big or not.

if u want some1 to do for u, can ask "55 accessories" at Bt Batok lah, supposedly to b $55 per pc of SP material. or you can DIY lor. cost me abt $60 for 4 doors.
