Any comments on this? I'm thinking of installing this on my Aveo Auto Sedan. Any idea where to get it done and how much?

yup i'm gonna get it done within these few days too...mcwell's website is promoting it for $208 (mcwellventures.com)...though not exactly very cheap but u pay abit more for their worksmanship...other places may not install the wires as neatly...alternatively many other shops also offer this service...juz do a search on this topic...it's been discussed to death [:)]

Bro,

I think that $208 promo over liao. I was just there to fix it up. Back to original price of $248 with grounding cable. [:(]

But I'm not angry...in fact I'm happy with my new mod! Very nice! Quicker and more responsive engine! $40 only worth 2 hours of my work time. Never mind! [laugh]

Bluewind,

Thanks for the experience. Decided to go for it.

Spent $248 on Pivot VS plus MV Grounding Cable. No more upgrades for awhile....

There is a noticable difference with VS installed. Engine is more responsive, pickup / revving and gear change better and smoother. Worth the upgrade! Thanks to Bleu for his advice!

I noticed that too. At Home Fix DIY, I bought my Type R Racing Pedals for $28.20. At McWell, it was $35! [thumbsdown]

But the guys there seem to be pretty nice, friendly and expert. Well, maybe I'm a newbie so anyone smarter than me is expert/ [smash]

Agreed, Bleu. Service was [thumbsup] . May consider going there again for other stuff. No Mobil 10W30 though.

According to Pivot's website, it does help in FC. Personally, I don't seem much help. The gains are very very marginal I believe. This goes for grounding as well. At least my electrical circuitry have extra protection! wink.gif

I just collected a racing spec condenser from Buddyclub last Friday and had it installed (see: http://buddyclub.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4114). It has grounding and volt stabiliser integrated.

One point is grounded to my transmission and honestly can feel that automatic gear changes are very much smoother. Can sense that my ICE is clearer so I assume that must be the voltage stabiliser working.

Any claimed improvements in FC yet to be seen. Similarly assume it will be marginal if any. Am monitoring now and will let you know later.

Oh definitely auto gear change is much smoother than before plus better sounding ICE. thumbsup.gif I get that too.
