hi guys,

i got a passive Phase Tech PC50 10" subwoofer,

think it's a DVC,

from my HT system, intending to use it on my ride,

not sure it's power rating, i guess at 100 watts..

what would be a suitable amp to use, should i run mono or stereo?

thanks

[rolleyes]

I saw this before in SLT, but checking rodek's website, I noticed they do not produce active woofers, and the "rodek" logo on the active woofer looks a little different from the company's website

Pioneer has a new active sub - TS-WX11A. Anyone has a comment on this model? Am thinking of getting a sub to be fitted under seat. Is it that bad in terms of the bum feeling the effects from the sub....even if adjustments to 'non-directional'?

Sorry, not so experienced with ICE stuff!

That's OK. I meant as a general message in the thread, but did not know how to do this, so "replied" you.........being an active forum-nist hoping others will also see the message!

The TS-WX11A is just your run of the mill active sub. Bum feeling wise is not as bad as people make it out to be. Just some vibrations. Cant really drive as low as its predecessor so if possible, get the predecessor unless space is a constraint. I had it before but I sold it to change to passive sub. [;)]

is 22A too big to fit under the seat?

big or small is relative to the size/type of car you are putting it into.

You can go to pioneer's website and get the exact measurement or better still, to the shop and ask them to take one out and try on your car.

On MPV or SUV, it might go under but then, i'm not sure if there's enough oomph for the size, for smaller size car such as sedan or coupe, I think it will have to go into the boot.
