Vblaster_w211 2nd Gear April 10, 2005 Share April 10, 2005 From previous experience in Hyundai, Nissan etc type of cars, the servicing have always been somewhat like: 1K service - breakin period 5K service - another free service (mineral oil) 10K service - tech advise top up for synthetic oil. Henceforth, every 10K synthetic oil change. But with E200K, it comes with Assyst Plus computer, and it seems it will recommend servicing based on driving profile and conditions of engine. Right now, it is recomending me to service only at around 20K, or another 13K to go now that my mileage is 7K. From other forums, they stated Assyst Plus will also prompt for service based on dates, i.e. before 1 yr interval is up if mileage is too low. Interesting... What's your experience for Conti cars like Mercs, BMWs etc? ↡ Advertisement
