Hw to improve radio reception????

Hi

 

I had recently installed some amp in my car but found that the radio reception is not as clear as b4 n as well as some echoes...

 

May i know is there any way to improve it?...thks

I think your radio originally like that one, adding those mod must have made the distortion and hissing sounds clearer.

Try digital radio with cool shark fin antenna if you want to eliminate distortion

Digital radio? Does that means changing the HU? Can the current antenna be still useable? Or must change HU + Antenna to Digital type?

get yer ICE installer to help u solve the radio reception as they should hv the necessary experience.

Check the antenna cables for broken or loose connection. Echo?, is your digit echo or karaoke switch is turn on? or speaker acoustic dampening/sound-proofing is not okay?

Yes, Digital Radio is the way to go. There are 2 options. either you change your head unit to Blaupunkt's Woodstock series, or, if you have an Aux In, you check out www.revo.com. we are launching Revo this June. Come for the launch.

DAB does not have anything current that comes in Sharkfin form. The best would be a rooftop Antenna now, or Blaupunkt's Autofun screen Antenna.

Is it the setting of the radio mode,-stadium,church,listening etc,may take alook at that.

you can install all the noise suppressors you want. wun help that much, and will kill your audio. Noise suppressors are filters. filters will truncate your wave, thus eventually killing your sound.

 

Go DAB... that's the true way to Perfect Radio.

This statement is not true. DAB is never unclear. It's only either there, or not there. Heh. it's true that certain spots (quite rare) you get low signal reception. But when you do get it, it's perfect.
