Autonomy Neutral Newbie April 11, 2005 Author Share April 11, 2005 Yup its a GSR. The engine is K20A3. It's a toned down version from Type R infamous K20A. The FC is quite good. Am getting around 11.6km/l. Quite good for a 2L AT car. Am using RON95 petrol Now still running in though. ↡ Advertisement

Robin 4th Gear April 11, 2005 Share April 11, 2005 For a 2.0 auto that's very good liao.... hopefully after a careful run in it'll get better! my major concern is the insurance n FC....but if u can get 11.6 out of it, then i can seriously consider after i get enuff dough
Beanoyip Turbocharged April 11, 2005 Share April 11, 2005 Oh so yours isn't a type R version. I always had the mentally that a DC5 is a type R version... oh well.. now i know.. Cheers to your ride Everyday you learn something new.
Ghostrider 3rd Gear April 11, 2005 Share April 11, 2005 Quote Yup thanks Mzrmazda3. It is indeed slightly more than $3.9k. I think the insurance is what puts a lot of people off the car. It's a Honda. Moreover its a coupe. Actually its has nothing to do with Honda but everything to do with the word Integra. ITR or DC5 Type R when then was launched...lots of claims against this model....many cars goes into the workshop as a stock DC5 but come out with Mugen kit...exhaust....close ratio box and short shifter etc.... Hence the insurance whack when they see the word Integra. Imagine this...a friend holding a reputable job early 30s was quoted 5k premium without discount. That is why there was a period when lots of pple was selling their cars after 1 year.
Autonomy Neutral Newbie April 11, 2005 Author Share April 11, 2005 No problem. All Integras are known as DC5. Just that Type R is a DC5R, the king of NA cars.
Autonomy Neutral Newbie April 11, 2005 Author Share April 11, 2005 Yup. I think the FC is quite good if you do normal driving and don't whack the car. Go get it. Price quite competitive now. But the only thing is the insurance lo.

Autonomy Neutral Newbie April 11, 2005 Author Share April 11, 2005 Quite true. But usually the insurance for a Honda car as compared to other makes of a similar size will always be at a premium becos of it's boyracer image and bad press.
Autonomy Neutral Newbie April 11, 2005 Author Share April 11, 2005 I think the next available coupe for the price range will be a Tuscani now that Celica has stopped production.
