Dura Edge Wiper Blades

Hi all

 

Just like to find from all if any of you guys have tried Dura Edge Wiper Blades? Are they good in the sense that they don't cause judders? Heard that they are warranted for 5 years. Any problems we can get it changed. I'm thinking of getting it.

I install mine 2 years ago and initially it will shudder and leave a light fog after the wipe, after a few weeks, it works fine. After 2 years, it starts to leave streaks but I might be at fault as I never attempt to clean the blade. Don't think it will last 5 years and am not planning to ask them to honor their warranty.

With the price, better get them to honour the warranty if it cracks, harden and stuff.

 

It still judders initially, they change to new series, quite ok. No judder except when there is very little water..

i bought the Dura Edge last year during the motor show, when ever the blades got problem, like didn't clear completely or judder a bit, i just bring back and they wl change the whole blades without asking a question ... i think so far i change 3 or 4 times

change so many times? means the wiper blades are not very good...

So it's still worth the money when we change it when it's not working. Seems like a good deal. You only pay $80+ for the wipers and can use it for 5 years why not? So it works to about $16 per year. Given the fact that Singapore has alot of wet weathers.

I am thinking of changing car so the old wiper not a big issue any more. I initailly paid around $65 two years ago and they came to my place to change the blades. The thing that made me go with Dura is that I will pay about the same price for a set of stock blades from my distributor so I have already save money with Dura for these past 2 years. I would have to change at least 4 times more with the stock blades so I considered the money well spent.

their rubber is made of silicon...

silicon is more durable n thus the price is very expensive...

even sometime we bought those normal one, also hv problem ... since it come with 5yrs warranty, if it didn't clear properly, even got one line, can just go back and they wl change for u ..

i bought ard $50+, so work out to be $10 per yr ...
