I don't think there is much diff in the FC for the Ody and Grandis...

 

Both are heavy elephants.... and imagine on 17" or 18" wheels....

true also, but the road tax will be quite a diff. I would rather get a Stream or Wish.

 

WEll for those who can afford a 94k Lafesta, an extra $100 per month should not be much of a problem in maintaining a odyssey. Road tax will be $50 more per month and another $50 for petrol

The basic Ody is really not that bare. In fact those who spend extra 6k in getting the EXV version either have too much money to throw or have not went through the additional features of the EXV carefully and see if they are really worth it. Most of the extra features in EXV are hardly utilised - eg cruise control (on Singapore roads??)sunroof (with Singapore's weather??)

 

Personally there is no comparison between the Grandis and even the so called "basic" EX Odysssey. For me the most important determinant is how the car drives and not the extra sunroof, highend CD player, etc,

Hi, just visited Nissan Singapore website and noticed they have this as an upcoming vehicle. Anyone know anything about the spec and the tentative rollout date? Looks to me this MPV is in the same class as Honda Odyssey and Mitsubishi Grandis.

 

its got an auto sliding door at the back like the Toyota Estima...

la fiesta is in the same league as toyota wish, honda stream and mazda5. definitely not the big size MPV class....

 

i suggest u guys hold ur horses and wait for mazda5. coming next week or this weekend. be prepared to be wow-ed away!!!

Well, I do agree with you that the price diff between the EX and the EXV is not really worth it (IMHO).

 

However for family buyers, there are also considerations other than how the car drives.

 

Anyway, the Ody is definitely a car-like MPV.

Confirm Mazda 5 is not facelift. I heard MM will launch the car this week. The car look chio too.
