OBD interface point

check with you all is this the connection interface point for the OBD II?

most ODB2 connector is found near the steering wheel column.

Only the ODB1 diagnostic port e.g. like tarzanboyz 323, is found at the right hand corner of engine bay.

Can we do a diagnostic by ourself? I thought that we need to have the software and tools.

Think need proper hardware and software and the right connection. Think got discuss in one of the performance thread..

Hey, just got this off UK site.

How to make your dash-board indicator flash out the "morse-code" of the faults if any, without those expensive ones.

 

BUT, it seems like NOT our current Optra Engine, so not sure if the OBD is the same pins. And sure doesn't look like what you show in your pic

Usually, will not damage anything even if you stick the pins wrongly...

 

Anyone wanna try out first ? haha
